The summed holidays can leave us parents wondering how we are going to keep the kids from killing each other and stop us from losing the small amount of sanity we have left.
Here is an idea for filling the time in Edinburgh this summer and its COMPLETELY FREE!!!

Free Sister does Fringe for Bairns
Probably one of, if not the biggest month’s in Edinburgh is fast approaching and of course, we all know that is August! Why you ask, well thousands of comedian’s and artists flock to this beautiful city we all know and love to transform it into a hub of Fringe Festival madness.
Well who knew that there is also a Fringe for Bairns?! The Free Sisters is taking this Fringe to a whole new level by bring those little ones all they have dreamed of for an unforgettable summer! With a jam packed programme of kids show and 4 days of nonstop free fun, the Cowgate is the place the bring the wee ones this July 29th – Aug 1st.
Sunday 29th July- Fairytail Day
9am-12pm Frozen Sing-a-Long with special quests Anna & Elsa
12pm-2pm Fairy-tale Themed Arts & Crafts, Magician, Balloon Modeller, & Face Painter just to keep the fun going that little bit longer!

Monday 30th July- Lego Day
10am to 12pm there will be a day filled with one of everyone’s favourite thing…. LEGO! With Lego Video Games , Lego Themed Arts & Crafts, a Magician and more … wow the list is endless!
12pm-2pm We will then have Bricks 4 Kidz set up their giant lego station for the kids inventions to come to life.
Tuesday 31st July- Animal Day
10am-12pm From little fluffy animals to the weird and wonderful reptiles there will be cuddles all-round from the amazing Petting Zoo!
12pm-2pm Animal Themed Arts & Crafts, Magician, Balloon Modeller, & Face Painter just to keep
Wednesday 1st August- Superhero Day
10am until 2pm we will be having our awesome Superhero themed day! Our wonderful Face Painter can make the little kiddies into the coolest superhorse of their dreams and then off to see some awesome magic!

As if all that wasn’t enough every Sunday through the fringe we will be hosting FREE kids cinemas in partnership with Scottish Autism bringing you Disney classics, cinema snacks & special guests.
Sunday 5th- Beauty & the Best-9am
Sunday 12th- Brave & Kids Celidh-9am
Sunday 19th- Moana-9am
So if you are looking for something to entertain the kiddies during the summer hols, I can't recommend this enough.
