Merry Christmas 🎄

I got a call from nursery to say that CC had been found rolled in a ball in the cloak room and was complaining of a sore tummy. Well, my stomach dropped and my anxiety levels rose...she had caught the sick bug.

I was heading off to work so I organised for her gran to pick her up and her dad to get her later. She had at this point, fallen asleep outside on the bench in the playground.

She wasn’t sick...she was poorly but no vomit in sight. Phew!

She did sleep 15 hours nonstop through the night and woke like her normal spirited self, jumping on the sofa and desperate to play. I have decided to keep her of last week of nursery. I am not going to chance any more bugs before Christmas!

I am at work and actually feel a little funny. I am hoping a long sleep will sort me out tonight.

We have my husband’s sister arriving tomorrow all the way from New York to start Christmas and her husband is joining us on Christmas morning.

She will want to fit in so much and as it’s been a while since she has been in Edinburgh and even longer since we have had Christmas all together here.

So I am off to enjoy this wonderful time of the year with my lovely wee family. I am very excited this year as CC now understands the Christmas magic and it’s also Cassi’s first Christmas.

This year has been a blessed year for my family.
