About this lady!

I'm a forties mama, living in a thirties house, twinning humans. I write hard and speak uneasily. utter_mother is me, motherhood and mental health.

The questions

Where are you from? Do you still live there?if not where have you settled?

I'm an Edinburgh lass, who had a deep love affair with Glasgow, a brief encounter with London, then back to my hometown twin unicorns aboard. Daily i struggle with anxiety and ptsd and we're an autism family.

What would be your revolution?

My revolutions are #rubyrebellion #intersectionalfeminism #endgenderbasedviolence #makemotherhooddiverse #autismawareness

What did you do on an average Saturday night before kids?

Saturday's BK were spent in scanky techno basements and sweaty disco warehouse parties.

What is your Saturday like now?

My partner's #paulveganbadman, so nowadays the cowbells and dancing are in the kitchen and my Saturday nights are sampling vegan food porn. 

If you have alone time-where would you go?

My alone time would transport me to an open water swim in a lush green waterfall, mopping up warm puddles doesn't cut it! 

Where is your happy place?

My happy place is getting lost in writing, or half way through reading a novel, writing one would be a wet dream. 

What thing do you not like to do?

I don't like that I only started to get to know myself when I became responsible for two other humans.

If you could have a superpower what would it be and why?

My superpower would be to be able to live in my dreams and to be strong enough to pull up everyone who needs it. All love to all the people. utter_mother
